Perceptions of political leadership and public officials, 2003-2009

In 2011, the IJR will be conducting the eleventh round of the SA Reconciliation Barometer survey.

Since 2003, the survey has provided a rich and reliable data source on reconciliation in South Africa, with socio-political indicators on issues of political culture, race relations, human security, dialogue and historical confrontation.

While we conduct detailed analysis of the survey results every year, the IJR is committed to the principles of broadening theory and research related to the study of reconciliation.

Interested researchers, academics, students, and civil society organisations may apply to the IJR for access to past Barometer datasets by contacting Kate – leave a comment on the blog, call on +27 21 763 7128, or send an email to kate -at- ijr.org.za.
