Closing the Trust Gap in Australia

The other day I got a great pingback from “progressive ranter” Rich Fleming in Australia, who compares some of the findings of the 2010 SA Reconciliation Barometer with those of the 2010 Australian Reconciliation Barometer.

Fleming cites statistics indicative of high levels of distrust between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, and calls for efforts to “fill the knowledge void that has created such a gap in trust between the Indigenous people of this country and the rest of Australia,” through education in particular.
