Transformation, Black Economic Empowerment and Living with Difference

For any interested Cape Townians out there, tomorrow evening the Wits Forced Migration Studies Programme, together with the Heinrich Böll Stiftung and the Mail & Guardian, will be hosting a seminar on ‘Transformation, Black Empowerment & Living with Difference’. The seminar forms part of a series on living on the ‘Ethics of Difference in Contemporary SA’, and will feature the following speakers:

Zmitri Erasmus, Department of Sociology, University of Cape Town

Jon Soske, Centre for Indian Studies in Africa, Wits University

Francis Nyamnjoh, Department of Social Anthropology, Wits University

The seminar will be held on Tuesday, 26 October 2010 at 18:00 at the Centre for the Book, Queen Victoria Street, Cape Town. (more information…)
