IJR Vacancy: Communications Intern

The IJR is currently seeking a Communications Intern, with the following key responsibilities:

– Administrative support for the Communications Officer

– Logistical assistance/support for events

– Communication/information management, including research, updating databases, website content and media alerts

The successful candidate should have the following skills: interpersonal, computer/internet literacy (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Facebook, blogs, etc), communication, decision-making and problem-solving, and writing. S/he should have some administration experience and be confident, time-conscious, pro-active and responsible.

Qualifications: Diploma or Honours in Project Management, Public Administration, Communication or Public Relations
